pretty snazzy DIY's

Alright, so pretty much everyone that knows me is aware of my undeniable obsession with anything DIY. In fact, I get a ton of inspiration from my most favorite blog designsponge. So if you're into interior design, before & after projects, DIYs, cooking, gardening, and travel, among others of course, then you should most definitely check it out.

I've completed my fair share of the DIYs showcased on the blog, but there are definitely a few I've had my eye on for awhile. One of which happens to be the driftwood rack. Now I have made a few things using driftwood and I have to say I am a fan of how organic the finished product always seems to look. Not to mention, I am a huge fan of wood. Love working with it, love widdling it, love staining it...I just love it.

If wood isn't your thing, these super cute mason jar lights might just be your cup of tea. I don't know about you, but I constantly find myself admiring light fixtures and attempting to come up with some on my own. This DIY is simple, and I absolutely LOVE the finished mason jars. I've picked up a few mason jars from the local AC Moore and I know that Lowe's carries the light kit needed to complete the project. So hopefully I'll get this project under way sooner rather than later.
