CASTLESCOUTURE

For me, this time of the year definitely poses its own pros and cons. One of the cons being the money pit that has defined my past Christmas experiences. Don't get me wrong, I love giving back to my people via purchased goodies just as much as the next person. But, long story short...I'm broke. Not to fear. Here's one great solution that won't break the bank.

The castlescouture trunk show tomorrow evening.

My pal, Caroline, designs and creates all of the beautiful garments featured in the castlescouture line. And get this, it's all vegan-friendly and rooted in our very own downtown Wilmington. Local and vegan-friendly designs? That definitely gets an A+ in my book. It's really important for us to try and shop locally as much as possible. I think we, as consumers, tend to forget all the heart and effort that go into these creative processes. Which brings me to my next point...if you're looking for awesome clothing with some good vibes and sweet price tags, you should check out castlescouture or make your way to the event tomorrow, if you're going to be in the Wilmington area.

Here are just a few of my favorites from the collection:

I love everything about this top. I love the sheerness. I love the color. I love the sleeves. I love the fit. I think it's fantastic for pretty much any occasion. You can dress it up (the back is completely sheer!) or dress it down by belting it. So much versatility in such a seemingly delicate piece of clothing. Love it.

How many times have Vogue and Cosmo told us the sexiest part on a woman's body is her lower back? A lot. You can totally flaunt it with this little number. I fell in love with this dress the first time I saw it, and it still continues to make my jaw drop. I think it's a great winter dress and the cut is to die for.

I can't think of any jacket I'd rather keep myself warm in than the stylish and fitted Lux Leopard Faux Fur. Everyone knows Leopard is a must right now and this one pulls it off perfectly. As with most of the castlescouture clothing, this jacket is completely versatile and can be worn many ways. Dress it up, dress it down, wear it over the Cut-Out Maxi, or channel your inner Edie Sedgwick--it all works.

Talk about versatility. This looks great on both guys and gals. And it comes in two different colors: Heather Gray and Black. It looks so cozy, I wish I was wearing it right now!

If any of these lovely creations interest you (which I'm sure they do!) don't miss out on the opportunity to own one of your very own. The show starts at 6:30, so make sure to get there on time if you've got your eye on one in particular. I hear these babies sell like hot cakes:) Happy almost weekend, everyone.
