Danielle the Dog-Sitter

So my good friend, Caitlin, is moving back to NY on the 11th. Although I'm very sad about this, I'm not going to lie...I've gotten a lot of free gifts handed to me because of it. Let's see. Yesterday, she delivered mardi gras beads, biosilk, turpentine, a small notepad, water balloons (I think that's what they are. Honestly they look like condoms with rubber bands attached to them. So that gift was a little questionable.), mustard, salsa, tortillas, peanut butter, my nalgene bottle she had been holding onto for about a year now, and two lamps. Cha-ching! Oh, and it only gets better. This morning I get a little wake-up call asking if I would like some bristol board and if I would like my portfolio back. What a smart one that Caitlin is.

But the real icing on the cake would be the fact that she asked me to dog-sit her boxer, Cadence (see image above), until Friday. I guess I should mention that she likes to eat sand. Regardless, I love P. Cadence. She's my favorite dog ever. And I'm very excited. But I do have to admit I'm a little nervous. Only because the P in front of her name stands for Princess. Princess Cadence fully lives up to her name, trust me. She once tried to kick me out of Caitlin's front seat. We also used to have to lift her into Caitlin's car when she was feeling a little lazy. Hopefully all goes well. I'll probably keep this updated on all of the shenanigans that I'm sure will take place. I hope everyone has a great weekend!

  1. funny that i said we "used to have to lift her into caitlin's car." this should have been we have to lift her into every car. not one single time did cadence enter a car on her own. yet she could still jump up on beds and couches? hmmm.
